Mixture

 O LORD!

WHY is man such a mixture,
Good and bad?
It's rather
Disappointing.
Even sad!
It's always seemed to me
A trifle odd
That part of me is me!
And part is God.
But each day that I live
My whole life through,
Let there be less of me
And more of You!
