O LORD!
My praying has
A too familiar ring!
And You must sigh
To hear the same old thing.
My worn complaints,
The silly same excuse,
Do You get tired
And wonder what's the use
Of picking up
The broken pieces Lord,
And starting me afresh.
You must get bored!
Perhaps not,
And the truth is
That You'd rather
Your children
Brought their bruises
To hear the same old thing.
My worn complaints,
The silly same excuse,
Do You get tired
And wonder what's the use
Of picking up
The broken pieces Lord,
And starting me afresh.
You must get bored!
Perhaps not,
And the truth is
That You'd rather
Your children
Brought their bruises
To their Father!
